Salem Witch Trials

YES! Would I have lived if I would have said that one word, yes? Because of saying no, I was hung. It started off of being accused as a witch. It went on and on, I was in jail I was out I went to court. The torture was agonizing, ripping away from my soul everyday, every moment. I knew I wasn’t a witch, why was everybody accusing me I was. It irked me to think that people in this town went around and told people what they thought about me spreading the gossip that I was a WITCH! What were they thinking; they have to have a mistake between me and someone else. I have to do something about this. I go to court. Are you innocent or guilty; innocent, are you a witch or not; not a witch. The court will have to decide whether im guilty or innocent. I know in my heart what I really and but it seems that every other person in this town seems to think that I am. It’s that time, the court has chosen and you are……….innocent. Thank goodness…but wait, the court has rethought and you are guilty as charged. What! This cant be right…but. But you already said I was innocent. They tell me that I am going to be hung. But…..you already said I was innocent you can’t do that. As im standing on the platform; bristles sticking me in my neck causing drops of blood to rush down my neck caught by the collar of my shirt. I can feel the rope getting tighter and tighter and I start gasping for breath. The floor drops….snap.
Doing this project, I learned something that I have never known. I knew briefly about the Salem witch trials and couldn’t have told you enough to amount to anything. I learned that there actually was a trial determining whether to prove whether the girl is a witch or not. Altogether I thought this activity was very resourceful and helpful, and went along with the Halloween spirit.

English 11

English 11. The title pretty much explains it. This first nine weeks has been very packed. We have learned ALOT of stuff this nine weeks. From layers to blog post i have learned alot this nine weeks that i have not know in the past. In this first nine weeks my favorite part of class was creating and filling our blogs, and typing papers in the class. i have grown as a writer of now being able to write more smoothly and flow the page together more easily. some of the technological skills I've added is the blogs, good reads, and the whole "digital identity". Next nine weeks i look forward to having more class periods in the lab, and gathering together as groups and discussing our books in literature circles. So far this nine weeks has been very energetic, and i look forward to the rest of the oncoming year.

Shooter

Our book shooter is mainly dialogue and interviews. Our interesting thread came from the interview between Cameron and Richard. Shelby started talking about when she had to have an interview with the police over a situation that happened at church camp. She was saying how the interview was very awkward and that it is very nerve racking whenever you are sitting in front of a police trying to tell the truth and not lie. I thought this was an interesting thread because one of our own members has had an interview with a police which is pretty much like what happened with Cameron and Richard.

life is too short to try and take away what your not garenteed

People usually don't go to wards and recovery homes for nothing. People who go to these homes usually have problems that they cant fix by there selves, they usually need help.
In the book cut people have serious problems. As you could guess the book is mainly about cutting. There are some girls that have eating disorders, and some that have mental problems that cant ever be fixed. Sometimes i don't realize that some people including me have it good in life and don't have to worry about going to wards to fix your problems that some people have.
In out society are forced to do things to themselves that we would think is crazy. Some people are forced to cut like the girl in the book cut. She is forced to cut herself because of all the pressure she has around her. So sometimes we need to back up and realize how good we have it not to have to visit these ward and mental homes and live life as it comes and not try to hurt yourself and try to take away the life that you are not guaranteed to have tommorow.
